رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاء
Rabbi Hab Li min ladunka Dhurriyatan Tayyibatan 'innaka Sami`u d-Du`ā
Prayer of the Prophet Zakariyaa (Zachariya) (peace be upon him) to Allah:
"O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation."

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاء
Rabbi j`alni Muqima s-Salāati wa min Dhurriyati Rabbanā wa taqabbal Du`ā
Prayer of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) (peace be upon him) to Allah:
"O my Lord! Make me one who performs the prayer, and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation."

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Rabbi Lā tadharni fardāan wa 'anta khayru l-Wārithin
Prayer of the Prophet Zakariyaa (Zachariya) (peace be upon him) to Allah:
"O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbanā Hab lanā min 'azwājinā wa Dhurriyātinā Qurrata 'a `yunin wa j`alnā lilmuttaqina 'imāmā
Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the pious
